Senior Software Engineer
(React.js / React Native / Node.js)

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, remote Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of React.js, React Native, and Node.js experience to join the development team of our U.S. client. You will deliver development quality, value, and speed in our clients teams and squads as well as provide leadership and focus to achieving the clients strategic roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver on product roadmap and customer issue commitments
  • Assist in running team rituals
  • Build and maintain unit and functional tests
  • Maintain high architectural and code review standards
  • Guide deliverable decisions through team grooming and planning activities
  • Ensure quality, value, and speed in teams and squads' deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership focusing on strategic roadmap

Experience

Required

  • Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
  • 5+ years working as a Software Engineer with strong experience in React.js, React Native, and Node.js
  • Experience working with TypeScript and PostgreSQL
  • Focus on positively impacting quality, value, and speed
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proven self-starter with a self-motivated attitude and willingness to act
  • Experience working with Git as well as Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platform
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a broader team
  • Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired

  • University degree in software engineering (or similar field of study) or code school graduate
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
