Senior Product Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Product Designer with 5+ years of commercial software UX/UI design to join the product team of our U.S. client. In this role, you will craft exceptional user experiences and high-fidelity designs while working within and contributing to an evolving design system. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring the delivery of intuitive, engaging interfaces that align with the client’s product goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

  • High-Quality Designs: Design and prototype detailed user interfaces that align with the client's design system and adhere to UX best practices. Deliver developer-ready designs that account for all states, flows, and edge cases.
  • UX Expertise: Apply usability and accessibility principles to design work, offering clear recommendations that prioritize user needs and align with product objectives
  • Understand the User Journey: Map user journeys and deliver developer ready designs that account for all states, flows and edge cases
  • Design System Contribution: Use and expand the design system by incorporating new components, patterns, and tokens based on specific design requirements. Ensure consistency across all application interfaces.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to align on strategy, maintain transparency, and ensure seamless execution of design projects
  • Organization and Prototyping: Maintain well-organized design files and create clickable prototypes for testing, feedback, and proof of concept designs

Experience

Required

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years of experience in UI / UX design, preferably in fast-paced environments or on complex projects
  • An excitement to deep dive into the CPG industry and our users needs
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards
  • A passion for beauty and simplicity in the service of a great UX
  • Proven ability to create high-fidelity designs and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on clear handoffs and structured files
  • A portfolio showcasing user-centered designs and experience working within established design systems.
  • Proven delivery experience in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment
  • A collaborative approach, a can-do attitude, and a relentless pursuit to attain goals and solve problems
  • Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent
