Senior Front-End Developer
(React.js)

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, remote Senior Front-End Developer with 5+ years of front-end software development experience and a strong background in React.js to join the engineering team of our U.S. client.

Our client is a global energytech company providing analytics and data-driven insights that empower informed, real-time decisions. The company’s solutions solve today’s toughest oil & gas well delivery challenges from well design through drillout.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js and building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code
  • Develop test cases in conjunction with QA engineers
  • Document technical decisions and approaches
  • Conduct product demo sessions with stakeholders

Experience

Required

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting ideas and technical details clearly to internal teams
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Expert-level, hands-on experience and understanding of React.js, its core principles, and popular React.js workflows
  • Experience with common front-end development tools, such as NPM, Webpack, Rollup, Vite, and more
  • Knowledge in TypeScript, Redux, Material UI, Highcharts.js / Echarts, HTML5, CSS3, PostCSS, Autoprefixer, Webpack, and Rollup
  • Familiarity with Git and code branching models
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline
  • Experience in oil & gas industry
  • Proven leadership skills
  • A knack for benchmarking page performance and implementing optimization
  • Experience in pixel-perfect and trendy visual\interaction design and Figma as well as good communication skills to collaborate with designers
