Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, remote Quality Assurance Engineer with 3+ years of manual QA experience. The right candidate will operate in a fast-paced environment working closely with our client’s development team to test the company’s innovative software products.

Our client provides industry-leading, AI-based software that advances clinical research & development (R&D) focused on precision diagnostics, biomarker analytics, and clinical trial data intelligence. The company’s flagship platform delivers real-time analysis that transforms clinical trial data into insights that drive life-saving healthcare innovations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans to identify problems and their root causes
  • Perform manual tests to identify bugs and defects
  • Document defects, test procedures, and results
  • Provide input to product stakeholders on design, schedules, and potential issues
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Provide detailed feedback to developers on usability and functionality as well as collaborate on bug resolution and product improvements
  • Ensure final product meets requirements before product release
  • Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the development process

Experience

Required

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • 3+ years of manual software testing experience preferably with data products or data intensive applications
  • Experience designing, writing, and executing testing strategies and plans
  • Strong diagnostic, analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with demonstrable attention to detail
  • Experience taking initiative within a QA role
  • Commitment to delivering quality software
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong, collaborative personality with technical aptitude
  • Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired

  • University degree (ideally a technical or engineering degree) or relevant industry experience
  • Experience developing in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience working with Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, or similar test automation / E2E framework
