Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, remote Operations Specialist with 3+ years of experience in an analyst, operations, or sales support role. This individual will work closely with the management team to track critical company metrics, support sales and marketing activities, improve operational processes, advance management initiatives, and backup critical roles within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, prefer taking the initiative versus waiting for instructions, learn and adapt quickly, and will always find a way to “Get **it Done” – one of our five company values.

Reporting to our Managing Directors, you will play a critical role in growing the company while gaining and honing a variety of business skills

Responsibilities

  • KPI Management: Working closely with the management team and group leaders; develop, track, and report on company and organization key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Data Analysis: Develop instrumentation and dashboards that allow managers to understand the state of our business
  • Pipeline Development: Execute sales and marketing actions that contribute to lead development and aid in moving opportunities through the buyer’s journey
  • Marketing Communications: Execute social media programs including LinkedIn posts to generate prospect as well as candidate awareness and interest in Velozient
  • Special Projects: Collaborate with the management team to drive the planning, research, execution, and management of projects, such as developing pricing benchmarks and exploring new market opportunities, deemed critical to driving efficiency and growth within the company, and improving candidate.
  • Task Management: Own tracking and completion of cross-departmental tasks working with the management team and colleagues
  • Application Administration: Assume administrative duties for critical applications, such as an applicant tracking system (ATS) and website monitoring tool
  • Backup: Periodically perform recruiting and client success duties, such as sourcing candidates and scheduling client interviews, when those organizations are over capacity

Experience

Required

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • 3+ years in an analyst, operations, or sales support role
  • Demonstrated ability to perform research, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong time management and organizational skills as well as an ability to multi-task
  • Innate desire to own the outcome of your work and to act always with integrity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-stage, entrepreneurial environment
  • Engaging interpersonal skills with strength in building relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Prior work for another North American company
