Marketing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a remote, full-time Marketing Specialist with 3+ years of marketing experience to join our nearshore, software development outsourcing company. This person will perform demand generation and marketing communications activities driving program and pipeline success.

The candidate must understand how to research, develop, and execute campaigns that drive awareness, interest, consideration, and decision within a prospect base. This position requires working closely with Velozient managing directors and client success managers to develop and execute marketing strategies as well as support corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Research and target companies fitting company's ideal client profile
  • Develop and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and accelerate pipeline opportunities
  • Execute social media strategies to support campaign activities
  • Manage limited number of events, speaking opportunities, and sponsorships
  • Write, edit, and manage marketing content including blogs, website content, social media posts, and more
  • Utilize generative AI as an efficiency tool
  • Own campaign results, analytics, and reporting including tracking and ensuring follow-up on marketing-generated and influenced sales opportunities
  • Maintain corporate website
  • Design, refine, and automate marketing and sales processes
  • Ensure proper application of company brand
  • Perform budgeting and cost control activities on campaigns

Experience

Required

  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in demand generation or digital marketing role
  • Experience with a CRM application
  • Highly creative, goal-oriented marketing approach
  • Ability to work independently and get **it done
  • Team player with effective communication skills and collaborative approach
  • Driven to win with integrity and express genuine self
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable

Desired

  • University degree in marketing or business (or related discipline) or qualified work history equivalent
  • Experience marketing outsourcing or recruiting companies
